Kalifa Damani

Kalifa is a Jigsaw contractor currently engaged in a research study in the capacity of researcher and co-investigator. Kalifa’s research experience spans the fields of psychology, education and international development, with particular focus on the role of technology and media in children’s social and emotional development. She is a skilled mixed methods researcher, with experience in qualitative research methods, but specialising in quantitative data collection and statistical analysis. A talented artist, she has special interest in using visuals for research communication and as a research methodology. Kalifa has previously worked as a researcher at the University of the West Indies, where she also completed her BSc in Psychology, and at the University of Cambridge, where she completed an MPhil at the Psychometrics Centre and a PhD at the centre for Research for Equitable Access and Learning.
