Kalaluka specialises in quantitative research, impact evaluation, and statistical analysis, with extensive experience designing and leading experimental, quasi-experimental, implementation, and mixed-methods studies across education and international development. At Jigsaw, he provides technical leadership and support  for research projects in Zambia and some east African countries in  methodological design, sampling strategies, statistical analysis, impact evaluation, quality assurance, and evidence synthesis to inform education policy and practice. Prior to joining Jigsaw, he served as a Monitoring, Evaluation and Research Specialist at World Vision Zambia, providing technical leadership in monitoring, evaluation, learning, and research across large-scale education, health, nutrition, and WASH programmes. Before joining World Vision, he taught secondary school mathematics for over a decade. He holds an MSc in  Statistics, BA with Education (Mathematics) from the University of Zambia,  BSc in Statistics and Operations Research from Great Zimbabwe University, and a Professional Certificate in Implementation Research from the University of Washington.
