We focus on conducting research that builds better evidence about the connections between education, the environment and climate within low-income countries. This helps inform decision-making and improve policies and practices. In this way we use our skills to make a contribution to a defining issue for the global community.
All of our work related to the environment and climate within education also intersects with Jigsaw’s other areas of sector expertise. This includes work on the ways refugee education is affected by climate change, and the environmental impacts of increased use of technology in education. Jigsaw is engaged in work focused on refugee education and climate, and in work related to the environmental impact of education technology with EdTech Hub and DESC.
